As a result of the COVID-19 emergency, the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) has introduced a new bushwalker registration and booking systems for popular day and overnight walks, campgrounds and attractions to ensure the community is safe as a result of closures arising from the COVID-19 closures. Pre-registration and bookings are required for ta number of sites listed below to ensure that walker numbers can be capped based on available camping platforms and on current health advice. This will ensure adequate physical distancing and COVID-19 safe practices are followed, even in remote parts of Tasmania in our national parks. Please also note that telephone bookings taken by visitor centres and cave tours will be taken during normal winter operating hours.
