Cape Tourville Lighthouse Walk

Freycinet National Park, Tasmania

Big views for minimal effort. Often overshadowed by the famous Wineglass Bay Walk, the Cape Tourville circuit is one of Freycinet National Park’s most rewarding short walks, combining spectacular coastal scenery, lighthouse history and wildlife viewing in less than half an hour.

A flat, wheelchair-accessible boardwalk loops around the automated Cape Tourville Lighthouse, offering panoramic views over the Tasman Sea, glimpses of Wineglass Bay and excellent opportunities to spot whales, dolphins, seals and sea eagles.

As one of Tasmania’s official 60 Great Short Walks, it is an easy addition to any visit to Freycinet National Park.
